What sets Lords Mobile apart from all the other RPGs is that your heroes are trained by playing single-player adventures, which makes the game a hybrid.

If you are new to this genre then Lords Mobile Battle of the Empires will introduce you with an interactive tutorial. This tutorial will guide you through the basic elements of castle building and fortification which will help you protect your homeland.

You can expect to deal with the other common elements that are in every other RPG. That means building fortresses and taking your troops beyond the gates to take down other people’s fortresses, regardless of how much work they’ve put into it. One unique element of the gameplay is PvE battles which allow you to increase your stash of cash by a greater amount.

Multiplayer is where things get interesting. You’ll find other players’ fortresses by exploring the map and challenging them. You want to make sure that your own house is in order before you go knocking down your neighbors’.

The Good

Lords Mobile is an enjoyable game when you’re out burning and pillaging. The gameplay is simple but engaging and the progression system is paced well enough that you always feel like you are growing.

The guild system works fairly well in a way that other RPGs have struggled to pull off. Teamwork is important in this game and the way that they implemented the guilds makes you want to co-operate more often. This is a major asset that sets Lords Mobile apart.

In an age where making in-app purchases seams to be the only way to get ahead, Lords Mobile for PC gives you fair shot at making it without spending real-world currency. You’ll still get taken down by a player that has upgraded to the max but it is refreshing to know that you also have a good chance of reaching such heights.

The graphics are worthy of an honorable mention. You have probably played a game like this before however it is unlikely that you have played one which renders this well.

The Bad

Gamers are not known to be nice. If you are communicating with the other online players then you can expect to deal with a lot of racism and cursing. This online community is not for the fainthearted.

The gameplay gets dull after a while. This is a time-intensive game that you will need to dedicate weeks of repetitive gameplay into if you want to get far.

In-app purchases make it possible for some players to buy their way to the top.

Lords Mobile concentrates on keeping things simple. They stuck to the fan-favorite RPG style of play but added just a few tweaks to make their gaming experience unique. Give it a try if you’re a fan of the genre.
